Silent Hill (Full Screen)

This seems to be either a promo or a printed sample disc. The insert is printed on regular paper, but the quality is too good to have been scanned from a retail insert. The disc is sourced from the same metalized glass master as the retail copies, but pressed at the same plant which made the master, Sony DADC, unlike the retail copies which were pressed at a different plant using the master or stampers prepared by Sony DADC.

The disc looks slightly different to the retail copies. It is too saturated in red, and the screens used to print the different colors are slightly off compared to each other, but it looks identical otherwise. The disc is definitely authentic.

Most likely this is from a short sample run at Sony DADC, and the insert was printed by the film studio for internal presentation. The insert states widescreen, but the disc is the full screen version. This is a minor detail as it was not going to be sold.
