UK 7" sleeve of Pennyroyal Tea. There is no vinyl. This has been found in the hands of a few Geffen UK employees. They wouldn't print just a few "test sleeves" to see how they turned out, so the printing process was most likely completed. 5000 to 10 000 sleeves were printed, and most likely just scrapped when the single was cancelled. Only a few still exist, which were kept by Geffen employees. Usually the art department would receive two copies of printed sleeves and inserts to control the color etc. I know about three or four people who has one. If you look at the pictures below, everything matches. The UPC code, catalog number, great quality. This is indeed the real thing. One thing you may question is the title. The UK promo spelled it in three words, the British way, but this sleeve spells it Pennyroyal Tea, the American way. That is not odd, as the artwork was initially created in USA, and all UK releases would have had it spelled the American way. After all, that is the name of the song. The promo title was a mistake. All they had to go after was a standard A4 release schedule, and the person in charge did a mistake and wrote it as he knew it. No big deal.
