White label test pressing, black vinyl. Comes in a rounded plastic inner sleeve and a beige/ light brown die-cut cardboard sleeve. The test pressings were pressed by CBS Records, Sydney, who manufactured all of Waterfront's vinyl releases at the time. Handwritten titles and catalog number on the side A labels were added by the pressing plant, two different variations have been found: DAMP-114 A NIRAVANA W/FRONT SG A NIRAVANA Frank Cotterell, co-owner of Waterfront, has given confliciting information on the quantity. He once said there were less then 10, and later that there were around 20. Waterfront never kept actual documented record of number of pressings for any items, especially not test pressings. The correct number is probably something between 10 and 20. Frank had seven test pressings which he sold in 2002, and two before that. A few others have also been on eBay. 10 owners are confirmed. The onces sold by Frank in 2002 all came with printed and signed letters from Frank. A later eBay auction came with a slightly different letter from Frank, which was dated April 2 2004. One was also sold with a black and white Nirvana "promo sticker", which was probably added by a later owner.
