White label UK test pressing. It came in a black DJ sleeve, which may have been added later. There was no retail pressing of Unplugged In New York in UK, so for some reason it was cancelled after the test pressing stage. Only one copy has been found, which was picked up in a record store in UK in 1998. Nothing is known about it before then.
It appears to be a legit test pressing. The matrix code completely matches other records cut by Abbey Road down to the tiniest details, and the labels are identical to the labels used at the EMI plant where all black UK Nirvana Geffen records were pressed. If this was fake, it must have been made using the same equipment and materials.
