Sliver Mexican 7" test pressing counterfeit
Black, official vinyl made in USA. However, the label has been removed and replaced with a fake Mexican test pressing/ promo label. Click here for more information. The counterfeitor claimed that this was a one of a kind, however he has at least made two - though they are a bit different. One of them has a small spindle hole instead of a large, and also claims to have About A Girl as a third track. That is most likely not very true. I am sure we would find the regular Sub Pop edition, like the other one, which is a bit more common looking (as far as that is possible). Unlike the others, these also come in the picture sleeve, which is the regular Sub Pop sleeve with some clever Mexican text added to it - in different colors on the two copies.
