Combined test pressing of side B of Bleach and side B of a four-track 45 rpm promotional 12" for Steven Jesse Bernstein's "Prison" album, "The Sport/ No No Man". Black vinyl, white labels. It doesn't come in any other sleeve than a white inner sleeve. "Prison" was released on April 01 1992, so this test pressing was probably made a few months ahead, dating the 1992 pressing of Bleach to early 1992. The quantity may be around five copies, of which two have been found. The one pictured on this page came from Steve Fisk, who was responsible for the production and the musical arrangements on the Bernstein record. There was a problem with side B of the original Bernstein cut, and also a two seconds drop-out on side B of the original 1992 cut of Bleach, as discovered on the pink Bleach RE1 test pressing (RE1 means re-cut 1). New lacquers were cut by the same company which cut the RE1 plates, possibly K Disc, Lee Plating made new stampers, and Erika Records made this test pressing combined of the two B-sides. RE1 on the Prison plate means that it's the first remake of lacquer, while RE2 on the Bleach plate means it was the second remake of the Bleach lacquer. None of the Bleach remake-lacquers were used to press retail albums, they went with stampers made from the original 1989 mothers.
