The sampler came in a digipack with a small booklet indexing the contents of the disc, and CM Collection IV. The CM disc contains a PlayStation commercial briefly featuring Biohazard 2, and a commercial for Bio Hazard Director's Cut (Dual Shock Ver.) and Biohazard 2 (Dual Shock Ver.).

The PurePure series was distributed to members of the PlayStation Club. Pu-re Pu-re is a play on words, and can be taken to be short for Preview Play.
